KEW Planning is able to provide a vast range of services, examining the potential for development, alternative uses, and whether sites / land are suitable for the promotion of development.
KEW Planning has experience of a wide variety of sectors, including but not limited to residential, commercial, hotel, education, leisure and heritage assets.
KEW Planning offers the ability to undertake due diligence on sites, identifying any risks prior to acquisition.
Planning Appraisals are also available which provide a site or building’s potential for development, categorising any constraints and challenges to inform the acquisition or providing the planning strategy to proactively set out solutions to overcome any constraints.
KEW Planning has the ability and vast experience of having pre-application meetings with planning officers (which may include statutory consultees such as the highways authority) to negotiate the planning matters and agree all the necessary supporting technical reports that would be required to validate and determine the application.
We understand that stakeholder engagement and public consultation is paramount to the success in obtaining planning permission. KEW Planning has vast experience of organising and undertaking exhibitions to explain and clarify development proposals to a range of statutory stakeholders, the public and other relevant bodies.
In Wales, Since 1st August 2016 it is mandatory for any Planning Applications in Wales for major development (more than 10 dwellings or 1000m² for commercial schemes) to be subject to a Pre-Application Consultation (PAC) process.
KEW Planning provide a bespoke service in undertaking PAC’s for the planning application process, be it on a planning application being promoted by ourselves or for any other developers and architects for their own applications.
The PAC process and our services involves undertaking a set procedure for publicising the application (site notices, consultation with landowners and neighbours and hosting the draft application documentation on our website under the Consultation tab), undertaking formal consultation with community and statutory consultees, addressing responses received and preparing a PAC report for submission with the Planning Application.
KEW Planning submits and successfully negotiate planning permissions for several projects each year. From outline and hybrid applications, to detailed permissions (full).
The objectives, deliverables, programme, communication, reporting and risks are agreed at the outset.
Regular communication with the client throughout, with well-structured, and early dialogue around risks and outlining the strategy is provided.
To ensure our solution delivers on time, we assess and respond to statutory responses and other deadlines and apply good project management within the agreed programmes.
We have a proven track record of success for clients at Appeal. Our experience and thorough approach to the preparation of evidence maximises our chances of success.
KEW Planning conducts site searches, examining the potential for infill development surrounding settlement boundaries. Upon conducting a site analysis, the site is examined for the potential for promotion for development through the development plan process.
