  • Phase 1: Full planning application for the erection of a 4 storey 80 bed hotel (Class C1); Greggs bakery (Class A1); a drive-thru Costa coffee shop (sui generis); drive-thru KFC unit (Class A5); and associated car parking and landscaping with public realm improvements.
  • Phase 2: Outline planning application with all matters reserved for a public house (Class A3) and a cycle hire docking station,.

Planning Issues:

The site is allocation for mixed use development within the recently adopted Joint Local Development Plan (March 2019) and is a gateway prominent site with a waterside frontage to the east and prominent road frontage to the west.  The planning application is due to be submitted in early July 2019 to Plymouth City Council for consideration.
